Permissions to open access for reporting previous periods are granted by the system administrator. Typically, this option is available to financial and project managers.
Company settings may allow employees to create requests for opening reporting for previous periods.
To have the Request to Open Reporting button appear in the tracker, you need to configure the approval chain for such requests.
Once created, such a request is sent for approval to the selected approvers as configured in the settings. After approval, the employee gains the ability to make changes to the tracking for the previously closed period. Currently, according to system settings, the access to make changes is available for 2 days from the date the request is approved, including that day.
