This section is designed for adding paid overtime hours.
On the My Tracker page, each employee can see their weekly project limits, based on their agreements. The system allows employees to report hours beyond the limit. All hours, regardless of whether overtime approval has been added to the system, will be included in the client’s invoice. Unapproved overtime hours will also appear in the payroll but will not be counted toward the employee’s salary. In other words, the hours will be recorded, but the payment amount will be 0. To ensure that overtime hours are paid, they must be added through Crew > Overtime Approvals.
If an employee reports hours beyond the standard limit, but overtime has not been created and/or approved for them, a corresponding entry will be shown in the payroll.
Adding overtime
If there are agreements for paying overtime hours, you should go to the Crew > Overtime Approvals section and add the overtime for the employee in the system.
If necessary, you can additionally configure the process for employees to request overtime through the Questions section.
Additional approval for added overtime
The system allows for the configuration of additional approval for the overtime added for an employee.
The approval policy is set up in the Company > Settings > Approval Policy > Overtime section. If additional approval is configured, it will specify who needs to approve the overtime when it is created.
You can view all overtime approval requests in the Crew > All Requests section.
After an overtime request has been created and approved for an employee, those hours will be billed in the payroll at the corresponding rate specified in the request.
