This option in the payroll system blocks time reporting for the period, and when it is locked, employees or admins cannot report hours even through the Open Reporting feature. This way, the finance department can focus on processing payroll for employees without the risk of additional tracking data being entered, which could lead to incorrect calculations.

Time reporting is blocked by this option by default, specifically limiting the ability to:

• Report hours through the My Tracker page

• Add tracking entries in the project tracking section

• Report hours via the Telegram bot

• Delete tracking and leave requests from the system

If Request Leave is blocked, users cannot in the current month:

• Create leave requests

• Approve/Cancel/Reject leave requests

If Open Reporting is blocked, users cannot in the current month:

• Create an Open Reporting request

• Enter records in Open Reporting

If Overtime Approvals are blocked, users cannot in the current month:

• Add entries for overtime in the relevant section

• Create a request to add overtime

• Approve/Cancel/Reject requests for adding overtime

If Bonuses are blocked, users cannot in the current month:

• Add bonuses through the Organizational Structure

• Add bonuses through the employee profile

• Add bonuses through the payroll

• Create a request to add a bonus

When attempting to perform any of the blocked actions, users will see a notification indicating who has blocked reporting for the current period, so they know whom to contact within the company. This also applies to synchronization with Jira, Tempo, Worksection, etc. Any tracking added after the tracking block in the payroll will not be added to the system, and on the project’s Reporting tab, there will be a notification indicating that tracking cannot be added because the period is locked.
