Adding a Candidate
Resume Parsing
The resume parsing feature automates the process of adding new candidates for open positions in the system. It enables quick addition of candidates by extracting and inputting all relevant information from their resumes with just a few clicks.
To parse a resume, follow these steps:
1. Click the ⬆️ Upload Resume button.
2. Select a file from your computer in a supported format (DOCX, PDF).
3. Save the data.
The system will automatically create a new candidate profile and organize the extracted information into the corresponding sections.
Candidate Profile
On the left side of the page, the candidate’s key information is displayed. Below this section, there is a field for adding comments and reviewing the entire interaction history related to the candidate’s profile.
In the top-right corner, there is a recruiter’s notes block. By clicking the edit button, a window will open, allowing the user to:
• Add a text note,
• Select a color to highlight the candidate,
• Optionally add a bonus for an external source.
A recruiter can set reminders for tasks like sending a follow-up, reconnecting with a candidate, or handling other actions.
To create a reminder:
• Click the 🔔 button and select Add Reminder.
• Select a date
• Specify a time
• Enter the reminder details
This version maintains the original meaning while enhancing readability.
The reminder will appear both in the candidate’s card and in the Pulse section on your dashboard. From there, you can navigate directly to the candidate’s card by clicking on the reminder.
To streamline working with the candidate list, the system includes the ability to create labels. You can add an unlimited number of labels, assign colors to them, name them according to your needs, and use them for searching. Color-coded labels make it easier to navigate the candidate list and quickly find the desired candidate.
When adding a candidate to the system from any source, the recruiter can specify the exact job opening the candidate is applying for. This automatically places the candidate on the appropriate job board and displays the job title in their profile. The assigned job can be modified, removed, or new ones added. For instance, if a candidate is not suitable for one position but there is another opportunity within the company, the recruiter can reassign the job and continue working with the candidate in a new direction.
The candidate’s profile includes a file storage section where various files can be uploaded. For example, the candidate’s resume, collaboration proposals, or other relevant documents can be added.
